POLYETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition which shows a low- temperature impact strength and yields a molded product showing an excellent transparency. SOLUTION: A polyethylene resin composition is prepared by compounding from 0. 1 to 0.6 pts.wt. nucleation agent and from 20 to 100 pts.wt. low-density polyethylene resin and/or linear low-density polyethylene resin with 100 pts.wt. high-density polyethylene resin. Here, the high-density polyethylene resin has a melt flow rate (190 deg.C, 21.18 N) of from 1 to 50 g/ 10 min and a density of from 0.941 to 0.965 g/cm3.
