PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an activating energy beam-curing composition having low viscosity and excellent in hardenability by including an epoxy (meth)acrylate compound where a functional group selected from the group consisting of an alkoxyl group and a (meth)acryloyl group is substituted for hydroxyl group. SOLUTION: This composition comprises an epoxy (meth)acrylate compound where a functional group selected from the group consisting of an alkoxyl group of e.g. formula I [wherein X is a (substituted)3-10C alkylene], formula II [wherein R1 is a (substituted)1-18C alkyl] or formula III [wherein R2 and R3 are each H or a 1-10C alkyl; and R4 is a (substituted)1-18C alkyl] and a (meth)acryloyl group is substituted for hydroxyl group. The above compound having a constituent of an alkoxy group is obtained by the addition reaction of hydroxyl group of an epoxy (meth)acrylate of formula IV (wherein R5 and R6 are each H or a 1-6C alkyl; and B is an organic compound residue) with an alicyclic vinyl ether compound, an aliphatic vinyl ether compound or the like.
