HIGHLY DAMPING RUBBER COMPOSITION AND SEISMIC ISOLATION STRUCTURE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly damping rubber composition having an excellent highly damping performance and also to provide a seismic isolation structure using the same composition. SOLUTION: This highly damping rubber composition comprises a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 2-20C alkyl group with an olefin-based polymer and/or copolymer where their ends are modified with a radically polymerizable unsaturated double bond. This seismic isolation structure is composed of a composite laminate where plural flexible boards 3 made of the highly damping rubber composition and plural hard boards 1 and 2 having rigidity alternately are superimposed.
