摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject activated energy ray-curable composition that shows high curing rate and gives coating film of excellent flexibility in no need of other reactive diluent and prepolymer by using a carbamate group- bearing (meth)acrylic ester. SOLUTION: The objective composition contains a carbamate group-bearing (meth)acrylic ester of the formula [R1 is H or methyl; X is a 2-4C hydrocarbon main chain which may be substituted with a 1-4C alkyl, for example, a hydrocarbon chain of the formula: C(R2)H-CH2, the formula: CH2-C(R2)H (R2 is H or a 1-4C alkyl)]. The compound of the formula is prepared by subjecting the dihydroalcohol bearing a carbamate group from an ethylene carbonate derivative and an ethanolamine derivative to dehydrative esterification with acrylic acid in the presence of a catalyst. This composition is combined with a photopolymerization initiator (for example, benzoin or the like) and is cured with high-energy rays to give flexible coating layer.
