PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot check valve capable of coping with an emergency such as a cylinder hydraulic locking condition. SOLUTION: This pilot check valve 15 has a protrusion portion 3d at an outer periphery of a puppet 3 thereof, and an adjusting screw 5 mechanically separating the poppet 3 from a seat portion 2c while hooking the protrusion portion 3d. According to this construction, adjusting the adjusting screw 5 enables the poppet 3 to separate from the seat portion 2c, thereby causing passages 9a, 9b to communicate with each other, which results in dissolution of the hydraulic locking condition.
