PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light inexpensive laminated vibration control rubber by arranging an annular high-tensile rigid body on the outer periphery of the rubber or embedding or adhering it in the rubber. SOLUTION: This cylindrical vibration control rubber includes two annular high-tensile rigid bodies 4a, 4b engaged onto the outer periphery of a rubber elastic body 3. By engaging the annular high-tensile rigid bodies 4 with the rubber elastic body 3, a spring constant is provided so that axial direction of the cylindrical vibration control rubber is hard and orthogonal direction to this axis is soft. The annular high-tensile rigid bodies 4 are steel wires with circular cross section, have a notch in its part, are expanded in diameter by this, and are engaged with the periphery of the rubber elastic body 3. Thus, an extremely simple structure can provide a vibration control rubber in which a ratio R=K1/K2 of an axial spring constant K1 to an axial spring constant K2 is extremely large, and the rubber becomes a light inexpensive vibration control rubber.
