PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make walking posture more comfortable and the walking easier by enlarging the head clearance of a sidewalk structure for checking the header of a waste heat recovering boiler. SOLUTION: In this boiler, the installing height level of a sidewalk 5 is decided by suspending the sidewalk to the level of the center height of a upper header 1 of a heat exchange tube 15 or the installed height of the heat exchanging tube 15. With this, the head clearance to the casing 6 of the upper surface of the heat recovering boiler can be expanded by 300 to 500 mm than that of the sidewalk of conventional structure to the height of 1500 to 1700 mm and workers can walk easily with more comfortable posture.
