PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a lubrication condition by reducting a region of film breakage due to contact with a roller. SOLUTION: In a holder 3 to contain and hold a roller 2 with crowning, by considering the occurrence of film breakage due to contact of a connection part between a cylindrical region 2a and a crowning region 2b on the outer peripheral surface of the roller 2 with protrusion-form roller guide surfaces 16 and 17 situated between the three oil grooves 13, 14, and 15 of the column part 11 of the holder 3, the sizes in an axial direction of The oil grooves 14 and 15 on both sides in an axial direction of the column part 11 are decided in relation with the length of the crowning region 2b of the roller 2. This constitution prevents scratching-off of the oil films of the guide surfaces 16 and 17 by the roller 2.
