PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a rubber hose supplied continuously from damage and to make tightening enough by a method in which a mold releasing agent is applied on the outer surface of the hose, a rubber protector, after being extrusion-molded on the outside with the hose made a core, is cut, only the protector of a constant size from the end is cut, removed, and vulcanized. SOLUTION: An inner layer rubber constituting a hose 10 is extruded, a reinforcing string 30 is stretched on it, an outer layer rubber is extruded on it, a mold releasing agent 34 of silicone or the like is applied on its outside by a releasing agent applicator, finally a protector 12 is extruded on it to produce a protector-fitted hose, and it is cut in a prescribed size. Next, only the protector of a constant size from the end is cut. In a cutting method, a thin-wall cylindrical cutting preventing body 40 is inserted between the hose 10 and the protector 12, and only the outside is cut bu a cutter 38 from it. The removal of the protector 12 can be extracted by the presence of the agent 34. After that, it is vulcanized.
