PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the external appearance of a clayey wall whose surface was conventionally simply flatly finished by forming various patters on the surface of a wall material by various methods in the clayey wall constituted by painting a wall material on a substrate material. SOLUTION: A substrate material 1 is arranged between the columns 10 of a building to constitute a clayey wall by painting a wall material 2 thereon. The plasterboard of the thickness of 12 mm is used as the substrate material 1, and a proper amount of water is added to soil, silica sand, fibers for plastering, an adhesive, cement, white cement, fungicide, a water-holding agent or the like to be kneaded so as to be prepared. A wood float, a trowel, a brush, a comb, a metal brush or the like is used on the surface 3 of the wall material 2 to form a pattern, in addition, a charcoal material, an iron piece, a copper piece or the like is buried, powder charcoal, iron powder, copper powder or the like is adhered to form the pattern, and longer cut straw fibers for plastering are mixed with the wall material 2 to expose the straw fibers for plastering on the surface 3. Thereby various patterns are formed on the surface 3 of the clayey wall which was conventionally simply finished, and the external appearance of the clayey wall can be improved.
