PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the white smoke discharge at an engine start time. SOLUTION: This common rail type fuel injection control device is provided with a common rail pressure detection means for detecting a real common rail pressure CP, a minimum common rail pressure calculation means (step 103, map M2) for calculating the minimum common rail pressure CPL by which a self ignition is carried out in a cylinder and an injection stop control means (step 104, 112) for controlling the stop of fuel injection when it is judged that the real common rail pressure CP is less than the minimum common rail pressure CPL, after comparing these real common rail pressure CP with the minimum common rail pressure CPL. The fuel injection at the low injection pressure time impossible of the self ignition can be stopped and a white smoke discharge can be prevented.
