PURPOSE: A high rate wastewater purification system employing multi-tray settling plate and ion generator is provided to rapidly separate heavy metal particles from wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The high rate wastewater purification system comprises an ion generator(100); an ion agitator(200) for mixing ions supplied from the ion generator with raw wastewater; a sludge settling part(400) in which sludge containing ions is settled as passing through a multi-tray settling plate; and a control means for controlling the ion generator(100) and the ion agitator(200).
