A data storage device is provided in the form of a pen. The device carries one or more memory segments 20 in which is stored the pattern of movement of the pen stylus 12 which is recorded by information processor 18. The storage device may be powered by rechargeable battery 22. The device may further comprise an infra red transmitter 28 for sending the stored information to a retrieval device. Audible and/or usual indication of the storage of information may be given. |
