摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the responsiveness of opening and closing operations of a nozzle and improve the reliability of these operations so that a combustion gas control body such as a poppet valve can be driven to be opened and closed by great driving force. SOLUTION: In a combustion gas control device of a rocket engine which jets combustion gas generated in a gas generator 5 from a throat part 2 of a nozzle 1 to generate propulsive force, a combustion gas control body 3 which is provided in the nozzle 1 to open and close the throat part 2, a piston 9 provided integrally with the combustion gas control body 3, and a cylindrical member 10 which movably receives the piston 9 to confine a control chamber 11 to the rear face side of the piston 9, are provided. The control chamber 11 is directly connected to a gas generator 5 through by-pass passage 12 to open and close the by-pass passage 12 by a by-pass valve 14. Further, a bleed passage 15 is connected to the control chamber 11, and the bleed passage 15 is opened and closed by a bleed valve 17.
