PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity of a swivel base without increasing its weight by forming the swivel base in the turning radius nearly equal to the turning locus on the bird's-eye view, and forming a side deck into a skeleton integrated structure constituted of a plurality of stretched beams. SOLUTION: This revolving base 1 is formed so that its outermost end lines in the turning radius nearly equal to the turning locus of the rear end section of a counterweight, thus it is brought into no contact with an obstacle when turned. The swivel base 1 is formed into a skeleton integrated structure connected with a main frame 2 and right and left side frames by stretched beams respectively, it is made lighter in weight than a single-plate structure or a cast structure, and the output power of a vehicle can be reduced by its light weight. Even a medium-sized or large-sized hydraulic backhoe can be easily manufactured with a simple structure, and the cost can be reduced. Since the swivel base 1 is formed into the skeleton integrated structure, many opening sections can be provided below the swivel base 1, and the maintenance property from below a vehicle body can be improved.
