PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for accelerating shrinkage of collagen useful as an agent for improving the sagging and springiness of the skin and an anti- aging agent by including a whey extract, hydrolyzed casein, 1- acyllysophospholipid and an extract of a plant of the genus Bupleurum. SOLUTION: The objective agent contains one or more components selected from (A) a whey extract, (B) hydrolyzed casein, (C) a 1-acyllysophospholipid of formula I (R1 is an 11-18C saturated fatty acid residue or an 18C fatty acid residue containing 1 to 3 unsaturated double bonds; M is H or an alkali metal) or formula II (R2 is a 13-18C saturated fatty acid residue or an 18C fatty acid residue containing 1 to 3 unsaturated double bonds) and (D) an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Bupleurum (e.g. Bupleurum falcatum Linne and Bupleurum chinese DC.). The component D is obtained by selecting a part expected to contain saikosaponin and saikogenin (e.g. the root part) and separating the component from the selected part e.g. by solvent extraction. These components are preferably included in an amount of 0.0001-20 wt.% expressed in terms of dried solid.
