PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a care clothing excellent in antibacterial property against Staphylococcus aureus, having high safety to the human body and deodorizing effect, and useful for clothing for sleeping, gloves, hosiery, a pair of Tabi (Japanese socks), underwear, and the like, by making the clothing support microorganisms belonging to Brachybacterium. SOLUTION: Microoganisms belonging to Brachybacterium such as Brachybacterium strain AAA-a (FERM P-16,951) are supported in the number of preferably 10 to 10,000,000 /cm3. The Brachybacterium preferably is a new microorganism having the following mycological properties: having a form of polymorphismic bacilli; gram staining is positive; spore is negative; motility is negative; attitude for oxygen is aerobic; oxidase is negative; catalase is positive; color tone of the colony is yellowish; antibacterial property is negative; bacillary-globular cycle is positive; elongation of surface cells of the colony is negative; cell wall diamino acid is meso-diaminopimelic acid; glycolyl test is negative (actyl type); or the like. |
