PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator that is free of erosion of its filter means by combustion of gas generant. SOLUTION: A partition member 15 including a circumferential wall portion 20 in the form of a porous cylinder is disposed just inside cylindrical filter means 13 for purifying and cooling combustion gas. Between the filter means 13 and the circumferential wall of a housing 1, and between the filter means 13 and the partition member 15, spaces 19 and 18 are circumscribed where the combustion gas passes. |
