PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which executes good hemostasis or air stoppage by uniformly distributing pressure. SOLUTION: This device has a staple cartridge 50 which contains plural surgical staples disposed in two spaced lines and has front surfaces 57 having an aperture 53. The staples are injected through the aperture 53 and are peelable adhered with elastic and bioabsorptive foam materials 52 on their front surfaces 57. The foam materials 52 are preferably peelably adhered by biocompatible and releasable adhesives 54.
