SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device having a displaceable intermediate plate 70 to support a sheet, a paper feeding roller 51 to feed the sheet by making pressure contact with the sheet S supported by the intermediate plate 70, a separation roller 53 to rotate in a direction to return the sheet to separate the sheet delivered from the paper feeding roller 51 and a drawing roller pair 55 to carry the sheet delivered by the paper feeding roller 51 is provided with a driving transmission means to press the sheet to the paper feeding roller 51 by the intermediate plate 70, to stop rotation of the paper feeding roller 51 after feeding specified quantity of the sheet by rotating the paper feeding roller 51 and to feed the sheet to the drawing roller pair by rotating the paper feeding roller 51 after releasing pressure on the paper feeding roller 51 by the intermediate plate 70.</p> |
