PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cool and lubricate a bearing or other sliding surface even in the case of little pressure difference between the delivery side and the suction side. SOLUTION: In this liquid coolant pump, a cylinder block 70 stored in a closed container 1, a rolling piston stored in a cylinder chamber in the cylinder block 70, a blade (not shown) which passes through the side of the cylinder block 70 to abut on the outer peripheral surface of the rolling piston 6 to partition the cylinder chamber into the suction chamber (not shown) and a compression chamber 14, and a crankshaft 4 supported by bearings 8, 9 are driven by an electric motor, thereby continuously rotating the rolling piston 6 in contact with the cylinder block 70, so that a liquid coolant is sucked in the suction chamber from the outside of the closed container 1, and the liquid coolant in the compression chamber 14 is delivered to the outside of the closed container. A groove 51 for communicating the inside and the outside of the cylinder block 70 with each other is formed in the end face of the cylinder block 70.
