PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection part structure between a ceiling and a roof ensuring a ventilating space for ventilating an attic space using a spacer easily transported and handled, low in manufacturing cost and unnecessary to be cut in conformity to the installation space of rafters at a construction site. SOLUTION: In a connection part where a ceiling board 1 with a heat insulating material 4 spread on the upper face, and a roof 2 provided with rafters 2a and sheathing roof boards 2b, intersect each other, an extensible spacer 3 formed in bellows cross section by folding a plate zigzag is installed between the adjacent rafters 2a, 2b on the back side of the shiething roof board 2b so that the upper ridgeline and lower ridgeline extend along the inclining direction of the roof 2 while pressing down the end part of the heat insulating material 4. Instead of the spacer 3, a spacer formed of a plate having flexibility in an out-of-plane direction and a width larger than the inner size space of the rafters 2a, 2a may be installed so as to be contracted in the width direction in conformity to the installation space of the rafters 2a and to press down the end part of the heat insulating material 4.
