PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a construction method capable of easily providing one united body by attaching covers to flange and web of core members when building a column strip wall, they are exposed when building the exterior wall, and they are embedded in the exterior wall by placing bars and pouring concrete. SOLUTION: An underground exterior wall 1 is constituted with a soil cement column strip wall 2 and exterior wall 3 at the natural ground side 2a. When earth-retaining column strip wall 2 is constructed, a cover 14 such as hard plastics is covered to the flange 6 and web 7. Next, the covered portion is exposed by chipping, flange 6 and web 7 are exposed, reinforcement 8 is arranged along the flange 6, a formwork 15 for exterior wall is assembled and concrete 16 is poured. Part of the flange 6 and web 7 of the core member 4 is roughly finished, and also lateral bars 8b may be welded to the flange. Shear connectors such as stud bolts may be provided for the web 7 so as to locate them inside the exterior wall 3. In this way, reinforcement can be easily performed, and the underground wall having a large degree of composite for column strip wall and exterior wall can be constructed by a simple method.
