PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air floating type conveyor with alight weight and a low cost in which a visual inspection from the outside is easy and a repairing is easy. SOLUTION: An air floating type conveyor is traveled in the state that an endless belt 10 is floated on troughs 6, 11 by an air pressure. In this case, the conveyor has support frame groups in which support frames 1 having a pair of right and left supports 1a, 1b are continuously provided at a space; a carrier trough 6 lied and fixed between right and left upper ends of the support frame groups; a close cover 8 lied between right and left upper ends of the support frame groups and attachably/detachably mounted so as to cover the belt 10 traveling on the carrier trough 6 and a loaded article and close an upper space of the carrier trough 6; and a return trough 11 disposed and fixed at a position below the carrier trough between the right and left side of the support frame groups.
