PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crab leglike paste product by which the product having a texture and appearance close to those of a genuine crab leg flesh can readily be produced in a few steps at a low cost. SOLUTION: A suitable number of ground fish meat sheets are superimposed and then cut to a suitable width to form a laminate. Cutting grooves 3 tilted from the longitudinal direction thereof are notched at a narrow interval in the resultant laminate leaving an unnotched part 4 on one side and the resultant laminate is further cut for each prescribed size to form united pieces 5. A pair of the resultant united pieces 5 are coalesced by the mutually opposing the unnotched parts 4 to form an arrow feather-shaped material 6, which is then molded into the form of a product. |
