PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lens molding mold rapidly and inexpensive by finely cut-in cutting using a cutting tool comprising a cubic crystal boron nitride abrasive grain of single crystal or multi-crystal and a binding material as a cutting tool of a lens molding core. SOLUTION: A cutting tool comprising a cubic crystal boron nitride (cBN) of single crystal or multi-crystal abrasive grain and a binding material is used as a cutting tool of a lens molding core and a fine cut-in cutting processing is carried out. In this case, the cutting tool having a cBN average particle diameter of 1μm or less is used. Ceramics is used as the binding material. A cut-in amount in the fine cut-in cutting processing is larger than 5μm in a rough processing and is not more than 5μm in a finish processing. For example, a bite 2 comprising the cBN and the ceramics is mounted to an ultra- accurate non-spherical processing machine and a molding processing of a spherical surface and a non-spherical surface is carried out. A tip 21 formed by sintering the cBN having a particle diameter of 1μm or less is auxiliarily provided on the bite 2.
