PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide storing facilities which permit minimization of the number of elevating means and also fixation thereof and make whole operations efficient. SOLUTION: On each of stages 7A, 7B, 7C and 7D, a plurality of storing parts 8 are formed like sections on the right and lefts side. A lifting means 11 is provided corresponding to the storing parts 8 being specified and it has a lifter 17 movable up and down through an extent from the uppermost stage 7A to the lowermost stage 7D. On the stages 7A, 7B and 7C except the lowermost stage 7D, traversing trucks 21 are provided in the number smaller than that of the storing parts and the trucks 21 are so constituted that they can move transversely between the adjacent storing parts 8. A comb-teeth-shaped truck-side supporting part 24 which can support a matter to be stored is formed in the traversing truck 21. In the lifter 17, a comb-teeth-shaped lifter-side supporting part 20 which can be engaged with the truck-side supporting part 24 and can move up and down is formed.
