PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for supplying a material for concrete capable of preventing the scattering of cement in a process in which the material for concrete is transported by a belt conveyor. SOLUTION: The material supply device 10 for concrete has the first aggregate supply section supplying the upper section of the belt 2a of a belt conveyor 2 with aggregate, a cement supply section supplying the upper section of aggregate being supplied on the belt by the first aggregate supply section and carried by the belt with cement and the second aggregate supply section supplying the upper section of cement being supplied on the aggregate by the cement supply section and carried by the belt with the next aggregate, and the first aggregate supply section and the second aggregate supply section are composed of an aggregate branch chute 1. The first discharge opening of the aggregate branch chute is arranged so as to discharge aggregate to the side of the belt conveyor upper than the position of cement discharged by the cement supply section while the second discharge opening is arranged so as to discharge aggregate to the side of the belt conveyor lower than the position of cement discharged.
