PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor joint device safely usable without walkers colliding with the end part of a joint plate since the end part is made to have an inclined face even if the end part of the joint plate projects onto a floor face or is spaced from a guide face to form a clearance. SOLUTION: This floor joint device is composed of a pair of recessed parts formed at a floor part between lateral buildings 3, 3; a pair of fixtures 4 respectively fixed into a pair of recessed parts, with the counter-joint-part side forming inclination guide faces; a joint plate 11 covering a part excluding the guide faces of a pair of fixtures 4; a pair of end joint plates comprising a pair of support fittings with the tip parts pivotally supported to the center side parts of both ends of the joint plate 11 so as to be slidable along the guide faces of a pair of fixtures 4, and a pair of joint members 18 fixed to the upper faces of a pair of support fittings to cover clearances between the joint plate 11 and the floor faces of the lateral buildings 3, 3; and at least two center maintaining devices 19 constituted by pivotally supporting support rods fitted to the center part of the joint plate 11, respectively in a vertically movable manner to center pivotal parts fitted to a pair of fixtures 4.
