PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an inexpensive paper feeding roller having a high initial coefficient of friction with a slight reduction in the coefficient of friction due to use thereof and excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: This paper feeding roller 1 is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, a vinyl group- containing silicone rubber and an organic peroxide. The weight ratio of the thermoplastic elastomer to the silicone rubber is >=(20/100) and <=(500/100). The amount of the compounded organic peroxide is >=0.01 and <=10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the silicone rubber. A condensation type liquid silicone rubber in place of the vinyl group-organic silicone rubber may be used.
