PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To profitably provide fine polymer particles which has a small particle diameter distribution and has extremely excellent stability and redispersibility in a liquid compounded with an oiling agent, and so on. SOLUTION: This method for producing fine polymer particles comprises dispersing and polymerizing a vinylic monomer in the presence of an amino- modified silicone as a dispersant in at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon-based solvents and silicone-based solvents. Therein, while the vinyl monomer contained in the polymerization reaction system on the polymerization degree of 0% is polymerized, the vinyl monomer and the dispersant are supplied to the polymerization reaction system.
