PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing process of a spur cleaner by providing the spur cleaner for removing ink adhered to a tip of a spur from a recording surface of a sheet by integrally molding an ink removing portion with a support portion. SOLUTION: A spur 5 with a tooth tip adhered with ink 9 transferred from the surface of a recording sheet 1 rotates with paper feed of the recording sheet 1, and its tooth tip sticks to a spur cleaner 8. Thus, the ink 9 adhered to the tooth tip of the spur 5 is pressed out in the root direction of the tooth, and the ink 9 is removed from the tooth tip. The ink 9 adhered to the spur 5 saturates at the root of the tooth and gets dry and is fixed without dropping onto the recording sheet 1. In this case, the spur cleaner 8 is formed by supporting a low-hardness gel material (silicon gel or polyurethane gel) having hardness (Hs) less than 15 deg. or thermoplastic elastomer 8C as an ink removing portion, around the part having a cleaner shaft 8B as a support portion.
