PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustments to the longitudinal interval between a pair of hanger arms disposed on a carrier for supporting and conveying transfer objects. SOLUTION: A carrier 4 has a plurality of hanger arms 22a and 22b for supporting a transfer object 2. The longitudinally opposed paired hanger arms 22a and 22b are movable to and away from each other in a longitudinal direction A. A closing device is disposed in a loading position to move the longitudinally paired hanger arms 22a and 22b to each other or shorten their longitudinal interval W. An opening device is installed in an unloading position to separate the longitudinally paired hanger anus 22a and 22b from each other or lengthen their longitudinal interval W.
