PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitrified grinding wheel capable of maintaining the excellent sharpness and high grinding ratio over a long time, difficult to generate the loss in shape, capable of increasing the dress interval with excellent grinding efficiency. SOLUTION: In this grinding wheel, ceramic abrasive grains are bound with other abrasive grains using a vitrified binder. Other abrasive grains include at least one kind of white alumina abrasive grains, rose-pink alumina abrasive grains, and pulverized alumina abrasive grains. The ratio of the ceramic abrasive grains to the total of the ceramic abrasive grains and other abrasive grains is 3-20 vol.%.
