<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of outward appearance due to waste chips of a foamed material adhering to the circumference of volume reduction equipment and the surroundings of a recovery site, and occurrence of a secondary environmental problem. SOLUTION: A volume reduction vehicle C has a packing box C2 carrying volume reduction equipment X which finely shatters a foamed material to be introduced from an introduction section 1 by a primary crusher 3 and a secondary crusher 4, vacuum-transports the resulting finely shattered fragments to a cyclone and then, volume-reduces them in each storage tank provided downwardly with a volume reduction solution. The volume reduction equipment is provided with a waste chip recover tank 9 for transporting waste chips of a foamed material to be generated upon introducing the foamed material into the introduction section up to each storage tank to recover them. The waste chip recovery tank 9 is provided with a vacuum hole 91 at the back side of the secondary crusher 4 which is communicated to the upstream end of a transporting tube through the inside of the secondary crusher and a vacuum hose 92 removably hinged at the vacuum hole 91.</p> |
