PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the high temperature of an outer peripheral wall forming a vacuum double wall, assuredly improve a thermal efficiency and form a knob or leg parts in a pan itself in a vaccum cooking pan used for an electromagnetic cooking appliance or an electromagnetic rice cooker to improve the thermal efficiency by forming an outer peripheral side surface with a vacuum double structure. SOLUTION: A pan main body has an inner and outer multilayer structure. Metal capable of being subjected to an electromagnetic induction heating is disposed in an outer layer 2a and metal good in its thermal conductivity is disposed in an inner layer 2b. Metal low in its thermal conductivity is used in the outer part of an outer peripheral side surface of the pan main body to form an outer peripheral wall 2c. A vacuum space 7 is formed between the outer peripheral side surface and the outer peripheral wall 2c. Thus, a large quantity of heat of an electromagnetic induction heating internally generated on the bottom of the pan can be avoided from being transmitted to the outer peripheral wall 2c so that a thermal efficiency can be improved. Further, even when a knob is formed on the upper part of the outer peripheral wall 2c or leg parts are formed on the bottom thereof, the temperature of the knob or the leg parts does not become high.
