<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide refuse stabilization method which solves the problems associated with the conventional refuse stabilization method and is simultaneously additionally improved in terms of apparatus and stabilization efficiency. SOLUTION: The method of stabilizing refuse by converting the anaerobic state in the refuse landfill site to an aerobic state by utilizing a refuse stabilization system including an air injecting/inhaling device 6, an air adjusting device 5, biofilters 7 and 7' and lances 1 and 1' consists in injecting the peripheral air into the landfill site through the lances driven into the landfill site under the same pressure as the pressure in the landfill site, inhaling the air in the landfill site, releasing this air through the biofilters and periodically alternately operating the injection and inhalation of the air through the lances. The lances are pierced with a plurality of vent holes on their outer periphery walls. Distribution pipes provided with valves are inclinedly installed in the connecting parts between the lances and the air adjusting device and the water condensed in the pipes is periodically removed through the valves of the distribution pipes.</p> |
