PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure rubber hose capable of reducing vibration and noise, caused by pulsation when working oil is discharged out of a hydraulic pump. SOLUTION: In the high pressure rubber hose wherein steel cords 4 acting as a reinforcing cord for the reinforcing layer 2 of the high pressure rubber hose, are formed into a blade structure or a spiral structure for a reinforcing layer 2, the steel cords 4 are formed into open twisted cords or waved cords, which are formed out of plural twisted strands, and in this case, an open twisted cord is used, the cutting ductility of which is equal to, or more than 4.0%.
