PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting and packaging device which can appropriately cope with a case where articles in a specified division must be temporarily sorted and packaged in a concentrated manner without increasing the number of packaging devices. SOLUTION: An article sorting and packaging device 100 comprises distribution conveyors 1A and 1B to carry articles parallel to each other, primary storing means 11 (11A, 11B) to store the distributed and discharged articles from the distribution conveyors 1A and 1B in a group in one row, waiting and storing means 12 (12A, 12B) to store at least one group of the article group to be collectively transferred from each primary storing means 11 by the transferred article group, transferring means 18 (18A, 18B) to receive the article group from each waiting and storing means 12, and a common filling means 14 to fill the article group received from each transferring means 18 into a specified container.
