PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a vertically moving platform to horizontal and slant conditions, and automatically return the lifting platform to a setting that it is opened horizontally at the time of next cargo handling by being interlocked with its closing action. SOLUTION: This device having a vertical link body 10 to which a vertically moving parallel link is pivoted and a lifting platform 20 to which the upper end of the vertical link body 10 is pivoted, is equipped with a supporting shaft 31 which is pivoted in the vertical link body 10, a horizontal/slant condition changing stopper 30 which is fixed on the supporting shaft 31 and can be abutted on the end surface 24 of a platform side mounting part, a locking mechanism 60 for locking the supporting shaft 31 in a platform slant condition that the stopper 30 may not be abutted on the end surface 24, a canceling mechanism 80 for canceling the locking of the supporting shaft 31 by the locking mechanism 60 by interlocking with the vertically closing action of the platform 20, and a return spring for returning the stopper 30 to a position where the stopper 30 is abutted on the end surface 24 when the locking by the locking mechanism 60 is canceled.
