PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary die cutter which can easily and efficiently attach/ detach a veneer die to/from a knife cylinder, and considerably reduce the wasteful time required for attachment/detachment. SOLUTION: In this rotary die cutter, a veneer die F implanted on a surface of a knife G is fixed to a circumferential surface of a knife cylinder D using a large number of fixing bolts 1, and a stock blank is cut by the knife G by the rotation of the knife cylinder D. A plurality of chucking members 5A or the like located on the extension of a fixing hole 1 and split in the circumferential direction of the fixed hole 1 are provided inside a cylindrical easing 3 of a circumferential surface of the knife cylinder D opposite to the fixing hole 1 of the veneer die F in which the fixing bolt I is inserted, a female screw 11 corresponding to a screw part (i) of the fixing bolt I is formed on an inner circumferential surface of these chucking members 5A or the like, and each chucking member 5A or the like is radially opened/closed by the external operation.
