PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor which restrains vibration produced when the motor-driven compressor is operated and is excellent in noise and vibration characteristic by disposing a pipe having flexibility as an inner pipe, and vibrating the inner pipe taking the flexible part as a bending point before the motor-driven compressor and an accumulator start to resonate. SOLUTION: This accumulator 10 secured and fixed in a hermetically closed container 50 through an inner pipe 20 has a pleated part 21 in a portion where the inner pipe 20 is disposed in the interior of a shell part 11 of the accumulator, whereby when a motor-driven compressor starts, vibration produced at this time is transmitted to the inner pipe 20, and the inner pipe upper part 22 is bent taking the pleated part 21 as a bending point by vibration to simultaneously absorb the vibration.
