PRIMARY PROPULSION PIPE FOR USE IN BORING SMALL-BORE TUNNEL AND BORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary propulsion pipe and a boring method for use in boring a small-bore tunnel while increasing efficiency and profitability by using the primary propulsion pipe comprising a gutter-shaped part with chipped parts and a cover part as a temporary propulsion pipe, and abolishing the operations of attaching and removing and passing cable hoses each time the primary propulsion pipe is extended. SOLUTION: A primary propulsion pipe 1 comprising a gutter-shaped part 1a having an opening and a cover part 1b for closing the opening is used, and a cable introduction pipe 4 through which cable hoses 3 are passed is inserted from the opening into the gutter-shaped part 1a whose opening is set to point upward. The opening in the gutter-shaped part 1a through which the cable introduction pipe 4 is inserted is closed by the cover part 1b and the gutter- shaped part 1a and the cover part 1b are connected integrally with each other; the primary propulsion pipes 1 thus interconnected are fed one by one into an end device to construct a tunnel.
