PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect whether a proper amount of a coating material or an adhesive is applied to all of the products or not. SOLUTION: The weight of a coating apparatus before the coating treatment and the weight of a coating apparatus after the coating treatment are measured and from the weight difference before and after the treatment, the amount of a coating material applied is calculated as the value equivalent to the decreased weight. The coating apparatus itself is immovable and the evaporation of the coating material packed in the coating apparatus hardly takes place, so that the weight measurement is much easier and much more precise in the case of woody plates.
