摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require neither skilled nor complex work and to efficiently carry out a last lap machining with high accuracy by recognizing a machining last lap amount against a workpiece before, recognizing a present position of electrode at the time of electric discharge setting a final position of electrode based on these positions and carrying out electric discharge machining. SOLUTION: In a NS device for an automatic control device 11, a position information showing a distance from the original point of a workpiece to a target depth of a surface 3A to be machined is memorized in a memory area M1. A processing solution 17 is filled in a machining tank 18 and an electrode 2 of a machining head 1 is moved on the surface 3A to be processed. Subsequently, while a voltage is applied from a power source control device 13 to the electrode 2 through a discharge circuit 14, a Z axis direction driving device 9 is driven to descend the electrode 2. Thereafter, a lying head 1 is stopped and the present position information is memorized in another memory area M2. A fine processing last lap amount previously set is added and it is further memorized in another memory area M3 as a position information, i.e., a fresh target depth.
