PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate non-operation of automatic gearshift operating device due to the exhaustion of battery, and shift a transmission more naturally by estimating the resistance during the traveling in an automatic gearshift operating device for operating gearshift in response to a displacement of the man power transmitted through pedals. SOLUTION: The electric power generated by a dynamo 13 fitted to a front wheel 1a is rectified by a rectifying device, and supplied to a control circuit part, a displacement detecting part 9 and a gearshift operation driving part 3 so as to operate a gearshift without using a battery, and furthermore, resistance during the traveling is estimated for shifting by the displacement detecting part 9 for detecting displacement of the man power transmitted through pedals 6 and acceleration of a vehicle and the gearshift operation driving part 3 provided with a gearshift operating motor for operating a transmission for rear wheel.
