PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing density from becoming instable and stably print at high speed by overlapping discharge voltage pulses to discharge electrodes thereby discharging coloring particles, and accelerating aggregation of the coloring particles. SOLUTION: Discharge electrodes 4 projecting leading ends upward between insulating plates 3, and auxiliary electrodes 5 less projecting than the discharge electrodes are alternately disposed and held to a head casing 2. Leading end parts of the discharge electrodes 4 are set to be even and separated by a predetermined distance from opposite electrodes. On the other hand, the auxiliary electrodes 5 are set to be lower than the discharge electrodes 4 and therefore separated from the opposite electrodes. The discharge electrodes 4 and auxiliary electrodes 5 are connected to terminals 10' of a terminal plate 10 of a recording head bottom part. The auxiliary electrodes 5 are bound in the back and further connected to one terminal 10'. A toner liquid feed port 6 is set to one side of an electrode array formed of the discharge electrodes 4 and auxiliary electrodes 5, and a toner liquid recovery port 7 is set to the opposite side.
