PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a deposit or to prevent growth of the deposit by a relatively simple method. SOLUTION: A nozzle 2 is provided with a clearance L formed between it and an end plate 10 on a back-end side 3a of a power tube 3 to constitute this jet mixer. A part of the high-pressure water jet from the nozzle 2 is hit against an inner wall face 3b closer to the back end of a power tube 3 than a granular body feed port 4a. A vertical pipe 17 communicating with an inside of the power tube 3 is provided below the feed port 4a, and a cylindrical pipe 22 having an outside diameter slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the vertical pipe 17 is inserted into the pipe 17. A cutting blade is formed on the pipe 22. A driving gear 28 is rotated by a driving motor 26, and its torque is transmitted to a gear 24 to rotate the cylindrical pipe 22.
