ANTIFOULING-TYPE COATING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling-type coating agent maintaining excellent storage stability, and also having high antifouling effect under both wet and dry conditions and also enabling the high antifouling effect to continue for a long term. SOLUTION: This antifouling-type coating agent comprises anatase-type titanium dioxide having an average particle diameter of 0.05-1.0μm and an ordinary-temperature film formation-type thermoplastic fluororesin as essential ingredients. In the antifouling-type coating agent, the ordinary-temperature film formation-type thermoplastic fluororesin comprises hexafluoropropylene as an essential monomer unit and the content of fluorine contained in resin nonvolatile components is set being >=35 wt.%. Consequently, the antifouling-type coating agent maintains excellent storage stability, has a high antifouling effect under both wet and dry conditions and also enables the high antifouling effect to continue for a long term.
