The telecommunication network traffic controller with a host control node includes switching nodes reporting, to the host control node, only call blocking situations where the normal outgoing traffic path is blocked. The host control node reroutes traffic away from the portion of the telecommunication network affected by the call blocking. The system gives real-time information concerning call blocking, generates alarms, and indicates network capacity increase requirements. |
